Overview

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering. We are looking for urgently, Project Manager for Overhead Transmission Lines.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
• Submittals / approvals with clients and consultants
• Follow SEC/NG standard and specifications
• Lead with high leadership skills, with knowledge and performance in project management, proposals, contract, budgeting, scheduling, estimating and reporting
• Complete track of site activities and identifying critical points and solve for closure
• Attend client / consultants meetings and solve points for closure
• Safety coordination with site management
• Track the clients invoice according to the work completion and submit for payment
• LC tracking and supplier payments
• Compliance with procedures and legal management
• Assist in punch list clearance
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members (e.g., project engineer, site manager, site electrical engineers) in a timely and clear fashion and resolve project execution obstructions
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
• Preparation and finalization of supply requests / purchase orders for all required equipment / machinery complying with the contract documents (as per client requirement)
• Coordinate with all suppliers for appropriate delivery of materials with view to avoid project delays
• Maintain a good relationship with the client and provide a challenging work progress with full client satisfaction
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
• Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and reporting authority
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Track project milestones and deliverables
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to the higher management and clients
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
• Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience 10-15 Years of experience in 380KV/132KV OHTL projects as Project Manager or Senior Position with documentation experience.
• Minimum 05 Years experience in 380KV/132KV OHTL projects in Saudi Arabia or any GCC Countries
