A leading construction firm in Saudi Arabia seeks a Project Manager to oversee contract and construction activities. Responsibilities
- Administer project contract & construction activities.
- Manage support activities like procurement and project progress.
- Finalize ACE as per management guidelines.
- Ensure steady progress against project schedules and sales.
- Enforce Construction Program and manage subcontractor activities.
- Handle technical, contractual & commercial issues for project completion.
- Assess team members and allocate suitable work.
- Keep all technical information updated and available.
- Implement Quality Assurance & EHS Plan.
- Promote ethical work culture among employees.
- Address significant issues proactively.
Responsibilities
- Report to Cluster Head to administer the project contract & construction activities.
- Liaise with the L&T PT&D IC head office & client to manage support activities such as procurement, designs & project progress and work as effective interface between all stakeholders.
- Finalize the ACE within the given time frame as per management guidelines.
- Ensure steady and timely progress against monthly schedules, project sales, invoicing, profitability, working capital, cash flow & ROTE as per target.
- Prepare & enforce the Construction Program for follow‑up and corrective measures to be implemented where necessary during the project work, including procurement, proper storage, manpower planning and subcontractor management.
- Manage technical, contractual & commercial issues related to efficient project completion, including technical submittals, invoicing, collection of payments, variations, etc.
- Assess team members and allocate suitable work to them based on their capabilities & advise them on next steps of the project according to its status, including identifying skill‑based training for employees.
- Ensure that all information related to technical drawings, electrical equipment lists, construction equipment lists, technical specifications is updated and readily available.
- Implement the set Quality Assurance & EHS Plan throughout the site.
- Promote a favorable work culture to encourage ethical and professional practice by all employees at the project site.
- Address significant issues before they adversely impact the company and client.
