The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end delivery of customer projects, ensuring they meet contractual obligations, budget constraints, and business objectives. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, maintaining client relationships, mitigating risks, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of customer projects in alignment with company objectives.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholders to provide status updates, resolve challenges, and align expectations.
- Monitor and report project performance metrics, ensuring financial targets and KPIs are achieved.
- Drive project governance and adherence to defined methodologies and reporting processes.
- Lead and mentor project team members, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure efficient resource utilization and timely project delivery.
- Support pre-sales and proposal development by providing project planning inputs, risk assessments, and cost estimates when required.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in project management, preferably within the telecommunications, IT infrastructure, or digital transformation sectors.
- Certifications: PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- Experience in managing large-scale customer-facing projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of project financial management, cost control, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and other project management tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
