Job description

The project manager will be responsible for end-to-end execution of assigned projects in line with customer orders, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, quality, and HSE standards. This role entails full operational oversight of project sites, resource coordination, and client interfacing under the guidance of the Deputy General Manager and in alignment with directives from the Project Coordinator and Managing Director.

2.1 Project Planning & Execution
  • Review and understand the work order, technical drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and associated documentation received from the Sales & Proposals Manager.
  • Develop detailed project schedules aligned with the overall master plan. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal management for schedule validation and approval.
  • Implement and monitor corrective actions to meet quality benchmarks and timely project completion.
2.2 Resource & Operational Management
  • Identify and tabulate manpower, tools, equipment, and consumables required for project execution. Share requirements with the Project Coordinator for timely arrangement.
  • Allocate work packages among engineers/supervisors based on its competency and project matrix.
  • Oversee movement and optimal utilization of manpower, tools, and machinery on site.
  • Coordinate logistics for staff, labor, and equipment transportation to project locations.
2.3 Procurement & Financial Controls
  • Liaise with the project coordinator (or handle directly in their absence) for procurement follow-ups.
  • Prepare project cash flow schedules for management approval prior to project initiation.
  • Raise monthly running invoices, monitor payment collections, and ensure validity of insurance and bank guarantees in coordination with the Accounts Officer.
  • Adhere to prescribed purchase requisition/PO authority limits. Avoid unauthorized site-level purchases.
2.4 Reporting & Client Liaison
  • Submit monthly progress reports by the 10th of each month (or as per client request), highlighting key metrics, hold-ups, backlogs, and remedial actions.
  • Maintain project documentation including inspection reports, weld maps, and progress trackers.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the client, consultants, and cross-functional departments.
QHSE Responsibilities
  • Set and monitor performance targets related to productivity, quality, safety, and environmental compliance for supervised personnel.
  • Integrate safety requirements in the planning stage and allocate sufficient resources to meet QHSE expectations.
  • Monitor QHSE KPIs, conduct safety tours, and attend site/client meetings concerning QHSE matters.
  • Ensure timely execution of Risk Assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments in line with company policies.
  • Verify compliance with applicable Saudi regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO, Aramco specifications).
  • Encourage and reward adherence to safety best practices and report commendable or non-compliant observations to concerned stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering or equivalent

  • Sound knowledge of QA/QC and HSE practices as per Aramco/international standards
