SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR
Location: Kuwait (with GCC / regional remit)
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Direct Reports: TBC
Role Type: Full time, senior leadership role responsible for securing product availability, operational (manufacturing) efficiency, cost efficiency, quality, and HSE amongst other related tasks.

The company is expanding its footprint in the region and requires a senior facilities and project management leader to oversee multiple manufacturing sites, including a new facility under development to ensure world‑class operations and long‑term asset sustainability.
Lead all facilities management operations across existing and future sites in the region.
Oversee the full lifecycle of any new facility construction, from design review to commissioning and handover.
Ensure regulatory, safety, environmental and compliance standards are implemented and maintained across all sites.
Develop long‑term facilities strategies covering capacity expansion, utilities, infrastructure reliability, preventive maintenance and sustainability initiatives.
Manage relationships with contractors, engineering firms, government authorities, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Implement world‑class maintenance frameworks (PPM, predictive maintenance, asset care systems).
Establish facility performance KPIs and reporting mechanisms for operational efficiency and cost control.
Drive continuous improvement across facility operations using lean, TPM, and engineering best practices.
Ensure equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, utilities, and critical systems meet industry, food safety and operational standards.
Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, EHS, and finance teams to ensure operational readiness and alignment.
Develop risk mitigation plans for utilities, infrastructure, safety, and project execution.
Lead facilities budgeting, capital expenditure planning, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
Build and develop local engineering and facilities teams to support long‑term operations.
Industry & Functional Experience:
10-15 years of experience in facilities management, engineering, manufacturing project management or industrial plant operations.
Strong background in FMCG, food manufacturing, beverages, dairy, or other regulated environments.
Proven success managing large‑scale facility construction or expansion projects.
Hands‑on experience leading multi‑site operations in Saudi Arabia.
Strong knowledge of local KSA regulatory frameworks, industrial safety, environmental laws, and construction codes.
Experience in commissioning new equipment, utilities, and manufacturing lines preferred.
Hard Skills & Technical Capabilities
Expertise in facilities engineering, utilities management, HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial electrical/mechanical systems.
Strong understanding of factory infrastructure, layout planning, and site readiness.
Project management certification or experience (PMP, Prince2 or equivalent preferred).
Ability to manage contractors, engineering consultants, and construction partners.
Strong budgeting, CAPEX management, and cost optimization skills.
Experience implementing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Knowledge of sustainability engineering, energy efficiency and green building concepts.

PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certifications (advantageous).
