Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a Project Controls Manager. This critical role will lead and coordinate the planning, cost management, risk management, and reporting functions for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh. This role ensures that the project remains on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. The position requires strong technical expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary controls teams in a fast‑paced mega‑project environment.

  • Developing, update, and monitor the project schedule using Primavera P6.
  • Assisting in establishing the baseline programme and tracking progress against it.
  • Analysing critical path, key milestones, and schedule variances.
  • Reviewing contractor schedules for alignment, logic, resource loading, and compliance with programme requirements.
  • Developing and manage the project cost control system, including budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
  • Monitoring project expenditures, commitments, and trends.
  • Supporting earned value management (EVM) and performance measurement analysis.
  • Coordinating with commercial and procurement teams on cost impacts, changes, and financial risks.
  • Managing the project change control process and maintain accurate change logs.
  • Evaluating scope changes and their impact on cost, schedule, and risk.
  • Maintaining the project risk register and support qualitative/quantitative risk analysis.
  • Coordinating with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to mitigate risks
Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 12 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent 8 years of your career will have been focused purely on Project Controls in infrastructre projects.

  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, EVM, schedule risk analysis, and cost control methodologies.
  • Prior experience working for a global consultancy or Tier-1 contractor.
  • Experience in large‑scale infrastructure (e.g., highways, rail/metro, utilities, aviation, or mixed‑use developments).
  • Strong understanding of project delivery models and contract structures (e.g., EPC, Design & Build, PMC).
