We are seeking a results-driven Project Controls Engineer with strong experience in EPC Power Plant projects (Gas Turbine, HRSG, etc.) to support the planning, monitoring, and controlling of large-scale infrastructure works across Power, Water, and Industrial sectors. This role requires strong hands‑on capability in schedule control, cost forecasting, Earned Value Management (EVM), progress measurement, and reporting, with close coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

🎯 What You’ll Do
  • Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and periodically update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and establish baseline schedules, monitor critical paths, float trends, and recovery strategies.
  • Cost Control & Cash‑Flow Forecasting: Monitor project costs against approved budgets, prepare cash flow forecasts and resource histograms, track commitments and actuals, and support Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) forecasting to ensure effective cost control.
  • Progress & Variance Reporting: Generate weekly/monthly progress reports, productivity dashboards, and Earned Value Management (EVM) analyses; identify schedule and cost variances and drive corrective actions.
  • Risk & Change Management: Conduct risk analysis, change‑order evaluation, and delay impact assessments; support the implementation of mitigation strategies.
  • Integrated Coordination: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all project‑control documentation adheres to company procedures, contractual requirements, and industry standards (ISO21500, PMI).
  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare periodic presentations and executive‑level reports for senior management and clients, clearly communicating project health and forecasts.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Experience: 5‑8years of hands‑on Project Controls experience on EPC power‑plant projects (Gas Turbine, HRSG, ST etc.).
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in PrimaveraP6 and advanced MSExcel for schedule and cost management.
  • EVM Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
  • Analytical & Communication Skills: Proven ability to deliver accurate cash‑flow forecasts, resource histograms, and productivity reports; excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in English (Arabic a plus).
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction stakeholders.
