Job description
Job Purpose:

Manages and monitors material flow and inventory within production operations to ensure timely availability, cost efficiency, and alignment with production schedules across ready‑mix, asphalt, and aggregate plants.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Plan, monitor, and control the supply and utilization of raw materials to meet production requirements.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and Equipment Operations teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
  • Track inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Analyze material consumption trends and recommend actions to minimize waste and optimize cost.
  • Prepare regular reports on material usage, inventory status, and production support.
  • Allocate raw materials to appropriate locations based on specifications and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures in all material handling activities.
  • Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate documentation of material and inventory movements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, material planning, and production operations.
Years of Experience:
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in material control, inventory management, or related roles within industrial or manufacturing environments.
