Overview

Leverage your experience and join the dynamic team in the Production Manager role at a leading Saudi company in the natural wool manufacturing sector, based in Hafar Al-Batin, Eastern Province - Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full natural wool production cycle - from raw wool sorting and scouring (washing) to yarn spinning and weaving or knitting.
• Ensure the cleanliness, quality, and consistency of wool fibers through optimized wool washing and drying techniques.
• Supervise the spinning process to produce high-quality yarns suitable for textile production.
• Manage weaving operations to deliver finished woolen fabrics that meet industry standards.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure timely and cost-effective production output.
• Maintain and enforce strict quality control measures at each production stage.
• Optimize resource use across manpower, raw wool, dyes (if applicable), and equipment.
• Ensure all processes comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance, procurement, and logistics to resolve production bottlenecks.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
• Train and guide production team members to ensure skill development and performance growth.
• Prepare and deliver regular production reports and KPIs to senior management.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in production management, preferably in wool processing or textile manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of natural wool processing, including: Wool sorting and grading, Scouring (washing and cleaning), Spinning (manual or machine-based) and Weaving or knitting techniques.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and textile production workflows.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning tools.
