An established industry player is seeking a skilled production supervisor to lead assembly teams and drive process improvements. Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
• Supervise the assembly team to ensure adherence to work instructions, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with foremen to allocate resources efficiently, ensuring on-time delivery and meeting customer expectations.
• Develop and implement process improvements to minimize waste, reduce costs, and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Conduct thorough self-checks, complete accurate documentation, and provide valuable feedback to improve processes.
• Ensure proper factory equipment maintenance, tools, and calibration standards, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
• Identify and escalate quality issues promptly, contributing to the development of quality problem reports and non-conformance reports.
• Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and open communication across departments.
• Comply with safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and housekeeping practices, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Actively participate in lean culture initiatives, continuously suggesting ideas and improving processes.
• Offer constructive feedback, share insights, and foster open dialogue to promote growth and innovation.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by management to fulfill job requirements and support business goals.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering - a four-year regular program at an accredited university.
Knowledge and Experience:
• Preferred: 4 years of experience in the production field with some basic knowledge of maintenance.
• Proven experience in Electrical engineering production or a similar role.
• FRP/GRP industry experience is a greater advantage.
• Knowledge of equipment, including production machinery, HVAC systems, PLC systems, hydraulic machines, and injection molding machines, among others.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
• Good reporting and documentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
