Department

Production Engineering has the mission to organize our manufacturing processes and facilities as lean as possible. We achieve this by innovating, setting up new processes and systems, and continuously improving our existing production processes and optimizing our logistic chain.

To strengthen this team, we are looking for a process engineer to support our manufacturing processes (assembly lines, logistic chain, automatic processes, brazing, pressure equipment, utilities, …)

We have a new project and need to get it ready for production. Responsible for reviewing specifications, ordering, and installation of new equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Install new production lines, assembly processes, logistic chain, manipulators, charging machines, pressure equipment, utilities
  • Adapt the production processes to introduce new technologies, launch new products, increase capacity, increase efficiency
  • Search for opportunities to improve the manufacturing of our products and our production lines, by continuously streamlining all processes along the total value chain. These improvements can be safety, quality, cost, delivery or environment related
  • Take care of the total project management of the assigned projects from A to Z :
  • evaluate quotation & make a selection
  • make internal proposal and get budget
  • define and discuss concepts
  • create purchase specification
  • discuss with suppliers
  • evaluate quotations, make a selection
  • make internal proposal and get budget
  • Approval- ordering and commissioning, installation & testing, guiding start-up of production, create the operational documentation - after care
  • Safeguard the SQCDE aspects along the whole project
Requirements
  • Master university degree - technical field
  • 3 years professional experience
  • Languages : fluent Polish & English
  • MS knowledge
  • Driving licence
  • Interested in production work environment, manufacturing process & technology
  • Interested in utility topics in a factory (for example : N2, O2, natural gas, refrigerant)
  • Process improvement knowledge e.g. Kaizen methodology, workability, short stop by the machine
  • SAP knowledge - additional value
  • Lean knowledge / experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of 2D & 3D CAD is an advantage
Additional info

Close co‑operation with the colleagues from our Japanese, Belgian and Czech factories will be required. Colleagues from these factories will support in the initial process set-up.

Your job requires you to proactively think about improvements and innovations. Close co‑operation with the operational production department and consultation with the design, quality, purchasing and external suppliers are also part of your day to day tasks.
