This Position reports to:
Marketing & Sales Manager – Middle East

ABB Smart Buildings enables optimization of energy efficiency, safety, security and comfort for any building type, through new installations or retrofit solutions. The Division offers integrated digital technologies to control HVAC, lighting, shutters, and security, in addition to energy distribution solutions—including DIN rail products, enclosures, emergency lighting, industrial plugs and sockets, and conventional wiring accessories—to accommodate single‑family homes, multiple dwellings, commercial buildings, infrastructure and industrial applications. The Division’s highly innovative technologies serve the rising global demand among real‑estate developers, owners and investors for smart‑building solutions that optimize energy distribution and building automation. The scalable solutions deliver significant sustainable and financial benefits, meeting social and environmental demands while addressing even the most complex of customers’ carbon‑reduction strategies.

Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Targets

Creates, plans, and ensures implementation of the local go‑to‑market product marketing strategy, including definition and communication of product value propositions and positioning in accordance with the global strategy. Establishes product marketing targets and budgets, and ensures their achievement through regular oversight, improvement plans, and re‑examination as needed.

2. Marketing, Business Development & Analysis

Develops and implements the annual marketing plan in collaboration with relevant business units / product groups. Prepares business plans focused on business development for defined markets, evaluates market opportunities, and decides appropriate activities aligned with the strategy. Coordinates opportunities across local divisions, conducts market analyses, defines forecasts and plans, and evaluates and shares customer research, market conditions, and competitor data.

3. Sales Support, Training, Logistics & Delivery

Oversees sales execution for assigned products, coordinating preparation of relevant materials and guidance to the sales teams. Drives sales efficiency by ensuring appropriate product knowledge (technical and sales) for each salesperson. Works with the order handling and logistics teams to maintain operational efficiency of inventory and customer satisfaction for delivery.

4. Standards, Governance & People Leadership

Implements and ensures compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies, and processes related to operations / project execution, and shares best practices and lessons learned across the organization. Ensures the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed, coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

Qualifications for the Role
