This Position reports to : Marketing & Sales Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive the product marketing and business development activities for the Emergency Lighting (EML) portfolio across Saudi Arabia, in line with the global strategy. You will play a pivotal role in shaping market demand, supporting the sales organization, and ensuring sustainable business growth by promoting ABB's differentiated solutions to consultants, contractors, and end users.

The work model for the role is on-site

This role contributes to the Emergency Lighting Business Line within the Smart Buildings Division, Electrification Business Area.

Main stakeholders are Regional Business Manager MEA, Country Sales Teams, Global Product Management, and Local Partners / Distributors.

Responsibilities
  • Owning and executing the product marketing strategy for the EML portfolio in Saudi Arabia, defining value propositions, positioning, and competitive differentiation in alignment with the global strategy; and driving business development initiatives with key consultants, contractors, and end users to generate sustainable growth in specification and project pipelines.
  • Identifying and developing new market opportunities, expanding channel coverage, and ensuring ABB's solutions are specified in major projects across the Kingdom.
  • Implementing marketing and promotional activities, including seminars, trainings, and campaigns, to enhance brand awareness and market penetration.
  • Supporting sales performance, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and specifications in SFDC.

Qualifications for the Role
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience in Product Marketing, Business Development, or Specification Sales within the Building Solutions, Emergency Lighting, or Electrical Industry, with a proven ability to develop and execute product marketing and business development strategies that deliver measurable growth.
  • Strong knowledge of consultant and contractor ecosystems in Saudi Arabia and experience managing relationships with large accounts and government entities, along with excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Arabic.
  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, and skilled in using Salesforce (SFDC) and MS Office tools for opportunity management and reporting.
  • Passionate about innovation, customer engagement, and teamwork, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
