Role Overview
The Product Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and product requirements while supporting solution design and delivery across the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience creating BRD, SRS, user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframes, and be able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure product requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and validate product requirements through interviews, workshops, research, and observations.
- Develop, update, and maintain BRD, SRS, process flows, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria with minimal supervision.
- Create wireframes, mockups, workflows, and UI/UX drafts using tools such as Figma.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements aligned with business goals, user experience, and system capabilities.
- Support and collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, engineering, QA, and business units to ensure requirements are translated into functional delivery.
- Assist with backlog grooming, sprint planning, requirement refinement, and change management.
- Participate in testing activities by reviewing system outputs against requirements, identifying gaps, and raising clarifications or issues.
- Maintain requirement traceability and ensure documentation remains updated and version-controlled.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of requirement documentation, including BRD, SRS, user stories, and wireframes.
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery, SDLC, and collaboration tools such as Jira.
- Ability to analyze information, identify patterns, and present clear and structured findings.
- Proficiency with diagramming or prototyping tools (Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, Balsamiq, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong detail orientation, organization, and follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, or related product development role.
- Experience working with modern digital or SaaS products is an advantage.
- Certifications such as PSPO/CSPO, CBAP/CCBA, or Agile Foundation are an added advantage.
