Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Purchasing Supervisor to manage and oversee the procurement operations for our growing restaurant chain and events venue in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the local Saudi market, specifically for food and beverage products, hospitality and restaurant equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effective and timely purchasing while maintaining quality and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day purchasing activities for all F&B and hospitality-related supplies across multiple restaurant outlets.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local food distributors, equipment suppliers, packaging vendors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the operations and kitchen teams to forecast and fulfill supply needs.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and food safety standards.
  • Analyze market trends and stay updated on seasonal availability, pricing changes, and new product launches in the Saudi market.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  • Track KPIs such as cost savings, delivery performance, and supplier reliability.
  • Work closely with Finance and Inventory Control to reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Lead and mentor junior procurement staff or purchasing assistants, if applicable.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement within the F&B or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the Saudi market, especially within Riyadh, for food products, packaging, cleaning supplies, and restaurant equipment.
  • Proven negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
  • Familiarity with local food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or restaurant POS systems).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Valid Saudi driving license.
