We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Officer to support our commercial and procurement operations within the construction materials sector. This role plays a critical part in building strong supplier relationships, developing accurate pricing benchmarks, supporting contractors’ requirements, and enabling data-driven commercial decisions.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of the local construction materials market, understands real pricing dynamics, and can confidently negotiate, analyze, and manage supplier and contractor interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with construction material suppliers across KSA
• Develop and continuously update pricing benchmarks for major construction materials
• Source competitive quotations and ensure best commercial terms
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to fulfill RFQs and material requirements
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Support the commercial team with accurate pricing analysis and supplier intelligence
• Evaluate supplier performance, reliability, and pricing consistency
• Assist in onboarding qualified suppliers and expanding the supplier network
• Prepare comparison sheets, cost analysis reports, and procurement summaries
• Support business development by identifying reliable suppliers for new material categories

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of construction materials and local market pricing in Saudi Arabia
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or commercial roles (construction sector preferred)
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and reporting skills
• Confident negotiator with suppliers and contractors
• Highly organized and commercially aware
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple quotations simultaneously
• Good English communication skills; Arabic is a plus
