We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Procurement Manager to lead and manage end-to-end procurement operations across fleet, automotive services, and general procurement functions. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, solid negotiation skills, and the ability to drive efficiency while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic
- Conduct spend analysis and manage tender/LTPA categories based on business priorities.
- Identify and pre-qualify suppliers, prepare tender documents, and manage E-Auctions.
- Develop procurement strategies that support cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Monitor fleet, transport, and automotive markets to reduce risks and ensure supply continuity.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to achieve competitive pricing and reliable service.
- Integrate procurement initiatives with sustainability and ICV requirements when applicable.
Operational
- Lead and supervise the procurement team to ensure timely and compliant purchasing activities.
- Review and approve POs, ARFs, and transportation requests through the designated systems.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Support new project mobilization with materials and services delivery planning.
- Provide regular status updates and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team to maintain efficiency and professionalism.
- Set clear KPIs and monitor performance against business goals.
- Promote effective collaboration with operations, finance, HR, and other teams.
Process Improvement
- Identify cost-saving initiatives in fleet procurement and workshop services.
- Improve procurement processes through ERP/P2P optimization, automation, and vendor database enhancement.
- Build vendor performance dashboards and conduct regular reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 7–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in fleet/transport, automotive, or government contracts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor-management capabilities.
- Proven experience in cost control, supplier evaluation, and contract management.
- Solid understanding of KSA regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools.
- Leadership ability to manage diverse procurement categories and teams.
Preferred
- Professional certifications: CIPS, MCIPS, CPSM (preferred, not required).
