Job description

• Actively contributes to the building of Purchasing Strategy for his categories and ensure its implementation.
• Develop and Implement policies and procedures of the Section.
• Monitors commodity markets and recommends stock coverage and Market prices.
• Build Product understanding (functionality) and constantly investigate with R&D to source new and alternative materials.
• Prepare category budgets and reports on monthly variance
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce cost and improve effectiveness.
• Negotiates and animates continues improvement plans with the suppliers
• Ensures Purchase Orders are processed on time to avoid Out of Stock.
• Liases with insurance department and finance for order processing.
• Evaluates supplier for Quality / Cost / Delivery and recommends action.
• Performs Risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
