About the Role
We are looking for a Pricing and Demand Analyst to be responsible for analyzing expected demand based on historical data and seasonality, proposing optimal pricing strategies, and monitoring train quotas to maximize revenue and seat occupancy.
The day-to-day tasks
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on booking trends, passenger profiles, and demand forecasts.
- Analyze and adjust train quotas per origin-destination (OD) to optimize seat utilization.
- Develop and propose optimal pricing mixes for each train service.
- Review booking curves and demand patterns to improve load factor and profitability.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support commercial decisions.
- Use Google Analytics to evaluate passenger profiles, website visits, and conversion journeys.
- Measure and report on the performance and ROI of pricing campaigns and promotional offers.
- Support and mentor new team members within the department.
The must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
