Job summary

A leading technology firm in the Riyadh Region is looking for a high-impact executive to drive business development in cloud, data, and AI. This role requires blending technical expertise with strong commercial skills to work directly with enterprise and government clients. Candidates should have significant experience in pre-sales solution consulting and a proven track record of selling to KSA customers. Educational qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with relevant cloud and AI certifications preferred.

Qualifications

  • 7–12+ years in hybrid BD + pre-sales roles within cloud/data/AI domain.
  • Experience building executive relationships in Digital Transformation programs.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure, AWS, GCP & OCI including migration and cloud security.
  • Proven success in enterprise pre-sales and solution consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for cloud, data, and AI offerings.
  • Lead technical discovery and solution demonstrations for customers.

Job description

This role is for a high-impact, customer-facing executive who can blend technical depth with commercial acumen. The candidate will drive business development, pre-sales solutioning, and go-to-market execution for Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, OCI), Data Platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake), and Enterprise AI (GenAI, Agentic AI, LLMOps).

The executive will work directly with enterprise and government customers across KSA, shaping pipelines, crafting solutions, leading bids, and building long-term strategic relationships.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Market Penetration
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies across KSA for cloud, data, and AI offerings.
  • Identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities in public sector, energy, real estate, healthcare, and financial services.
  • Build deep relationships with CXOs, IT leadership, digital transformation heads, and procurement teams.
  • Create multi-year account growth plans and revenue expansion strategies.
  • Drive partnerships with Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, and other ecosystem players.
2. Pre-Sales Solution Engineering
  • Lead technical discovery, requirement analysis, and architecture definition for cloud, data, and AI opportunities.
  • Translate business problems into reference architectures using Azure, AWS, OCI, Microsoft Fabric, SAAS platforms, and modern AI stacks.
  • Present solution demonstrations, PoCs, and value assessments to customers.
  • Lead bid responses, solution write-ups, SoWs, BOMs, commercials, and RFP submissions.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and delivery teams to design win-ready solutions.
3. Strategic Cloud, Data & AI Advisory
  • Advise customers on cloud adoption, modernization, FinOps, data governance, data lakehouse strategies, and LLM integration.
  • Evangelize AI/Agentic AI adoption through workshops, assessments, and maturity models.
  • Develop industry-specific cloud and AI use cases relevant to KSA sectors.
4. Pipeline, Forecasting & Revenue Ownership
  • Build, own, and manage a high-quality sales pipeline and quarterly forecasts.
  • Achieve booking and revenue targets across cloud managed services, project services, and AI solutions.
  • Work with internal leadership to plan growth, pricing strategies, and partner programs.
Skills & Experience Required
Technical Expertise
  • Deep knowledge of Azure, AWS,GCP & OCI, including architecture, migration, cloud security, and managed services.
  • Strong understanding of Data Platforms: Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Databricks, SAAL, Power BI, ETL/ELT.
  • Hands-on understanding of AI/GenAI: GPT/LLMs, AI agents, RAG pipelines, Azure OpenAI, MLOps, vector databases.
  • Ability to convert business challenges into technical solution architectures.
Commercial & Pre-Sales Skills
  • Proven success in enterprise pre-sales and solution consulting.
  • Strong RFP/RFQ/RFI experience: technical content writing, BoQ creation, and financial modeling.
  • Ability to lead PoCs, demos, and workshops with senior stakeholders.
  • Elegant communication and storytelling skills to present complex solutions simply.
Business Development Strength
  • 7–12+ years in hybrid BD + pre-sales roles within cloud/data/AI domain.
  • Proven track record in selling to KSA enterprise and public-sector customers.
  • Experience building executive relationships in Digital Transformation programs.
Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Cloud certifications preferred (Azure Architect, AWS SA Pro, OCI Architect).
  • AI/Data certifications (Microsoft DP-203, AI-102, Databricks, Fabric) are an advantage.
