We are seeking an experienced Power BI / SSAS Senior Developer to design, develop, and optimize business intelligence solutions supporting enterprise reporting and analytics. The role involves creating robust data models, building insightful dashboards, and delivering performant analytical solutions using Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSAS, SQL Server, DAX, MDX). More details as below.

Location : Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, KSA (ONSITE)

Contract : 12 months, extendable

Experience : 7+ years

Immediate Joiners preferred.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSAS, SQL Server).
• Strong experience with SSAS Tabular and Multidimensional models.
• Proficiency in DAX, MDX, and T-SQL.
• Experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources (SQL, Azure, APIs, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of cubes and reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Azure Analysis Services / Power BI Premium / Dataflows.
• Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Knowledge of DevOps CI/CD pipelines for BI deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
• Build and maintain tabular and multidimensional models in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Create efficient data models, DAX measures, and KPIs to support self-service analytics.
• Work with SQL Server (T-SQL) for data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, refresh scheduling, and access control in Power BI Service.
• Optimize report and cube performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
• Implement and maintain best practices in BI development, including version control and deployment processes.
• Support data governance, quality, and security initiatives.
