About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pool Technician to join the Engineering team at Jumeirah The Red Sea.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain swimming pools, Jacuzzis, spas, and decorative water features according to hotel and local authority standards.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per the established schedule and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment, and Work areas.
  • Comply with JEMS and all Fire, Life, Health, and Safety Standards.
  • Inspect and maintain salt chlorination systems, ensuring proper salinity levels, chlorine generation, and pH balance.
  • Monitor and adjust system parameters to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Hold a Technical Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Plumbing, or related field.
  • Possess at least a grade 10 level in education with a good moral background in his educational attainment.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in salt chlorination systems and pool water chemistry.
  • Problem solving.
  • Have 1+ years of experience in the technical department.
