Job summary

Parsons in Saudi Arabia is seeking a PMIS Specialist to contribute expertise in implementing project management information systems on large client programs. You will work with the implementation delivery team to develop, configure, and maintain PMIS applications, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.

You will lead integrations between PMIS and ERP or other platforms via APIs, build data models for Power BI, prepare technical documentation, and train client IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of related work experience in IT implementation projects handling integration and programming, PMIS implementation.
• Experience implementing/administering industry-leading PMIS solutions.
• Experience implementing PMIS like PMWeb or Unifier and proficiency in Advanced Query-Based Reporting using SSRS with Power BI and DAX.
• Strong at REST APIs for building integration pipelines.
• Build integration programs using Java and .NET.
• Knowledge of project management/construction environments.
• Excellent English communication, client-facing experience preferred.

Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented PMIS Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to contribute your expertise in the implementation of project management information systems on our large client Programs and grow as a member of the implementation delivery team at Parsons in EMEA. At this level, the PMIS Specialist has sufficient training, technical expertise and exposure to the Project and program environment to work almost independently on assigned projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Responsible for PMWeb implementation, configuration, and administration to meet client and project's requirements.
• Lead the development of integration scenarios between technologies such as PMIS and ERP or PMIS and any specialist technology platforms using APIs and manage the integration program.
• Be flexible enough to learn new technologies the company adopts on various implementation projects.
• Heavily utilize your programming skillsets in a technical role of maintaining PMIS applications.
• Lead information-gathering sessions with clients, analyze the information and prioritizing the requirements to gain understanding of the business needs and support their business plans.
• Perform data extraction from PMIS systems and build data models in PowerBi layer to allow visualizations for data analysis in PMIS.
• Prepare technical documentation and deliver technical training programs to the Client IT teams during the knowledge transfer phase on specialist technologies.
• Coordinate and review solutions designs with key stakeholders.
• Day-to-day software operation support for internal and external business partners.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Application, IT or from relevant engineering field from an accredited University/ Institute.
• Minimum 8 years of related work experience working on IT implementation projects handling integration and programming, PMIS implementation.
• Experience in implementing/administering industry-leading PMIS solutions.
• You must have experience implementing market popular PMIS solutions like PMWeb or Unifier and demonstrate proficiency in Advanced Query-Based Reporting using Microsoft SSRS along with a good understanding of Business Analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI with the ability to write DAX Queries .
• You must demonstrate technical expertise using REST APIs be able to use them to complete integration pipelines.
• Build integration programs using programming languages such as Java, .NET
• Knowledge and experience with project management and construction management environments is must.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills in English is required. Experience with client-facing roles would be a distinct advantage
