Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Understand Siemens Automation systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization; provide advanced technical support to customers.
- Industry‑Specific Knowledge: Leverage experience in water, oil, gas, and petrochemical industries to understand unique challenges and requirements; provide tailored solutions.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction by addressing complex issues, optimizing systems, and exceeding expectations.
- Service Operations Support: Collaborate with the service operations team to address service requests, incidents, and escalations and meet SLAs.
- Problem Resolution: Independently resolve intricate customer issues and provide guidance to less experienced engineers.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of service activities, including configurations, installations, and resolutions; prepare technical reports for management and customers.
- Training and Development: Assist in training and mentoring less experienced engineers; stay current with Siemens products, attend relevant training, and keep up‑to‑date with industry advancements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with customers and cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities for system improvements and performance optimization.
- Safety: Promote a safety‑first culture and ensure all safety protocols are followed in the context of service activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., electrical, automation, control system or related discipline).
- Minimum 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in Siemens Automation systems.
- Profound technical knowledge of Siemens Automation systems (configuration, troubleshooting, optimization).
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, meeting deadlines and exceeding customer expectations.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
