Key Responsibilities :
  • Developing Project Schedules: Creating and maintaining detailed project schedules using project management software (like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project).
  • Monitoring Progress: Tracking project progress against the schedule, identifying deviations, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Resource Management: Optimizing resource allocation (personnel, materials, equipment) to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential project risks, assessing their impact, and developing mitigation plans.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
  • Change Management: Implementing and managing change control processes to address scope changes or other modifications.
  • Reporting: Preparing and presenting regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring project activities adhere to quality standards and contractual obligations.
  • Team Leadership: Mentoring junior planning engineers and providing technical guidance.
  • Compliance: Ensuring project schedules comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
Required Skills and Experience :
