A leading Facilities Management and Engineering Services company is seeking a qualified Planning Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop work plans and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure compliance with project schedules.
- Analyze project data to identify risks and propose mitigation actions.
- Support site engineers and provide reports on project performance.
- Prepare templates, KPIs, and performance matrices aligned with the project scope.
- Track project progress and completion percentages (POC).
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to verify scope execution.
- Manage project documentation and update CAFM or similar systems.
- Conduct performance evaluations and issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
- 6‑8 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in Facility Management or Construction.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong understanding of planning processes and risk management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using CAFM systems or equivalent planning software.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and performance control procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
