Job summary

A leading government services contractor seeks a Pilot – Instructor to perform instructional and test flights for the MH-60R helicopter. The ideal candidate will have extensive flight experience, including MH-60R Instructor and FCF Pilot qualifications. Responsibilities include managing the Flight Operations Program and assisting with maintenance operations. This position is based in Al Jubayl, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 550 total flight hours, including 50 HAC and 100 MH-60R FCF/Maintenance test hours.
• Must hold a Secret security clearance.
• Must pass an aeronautical/flight physical.

Job description

Pilot - Instructor (IP) and Functional Check Flight (FCF) - MH-60R

Description:

Perform instructional (IP) and test flights to assess and demonstrate aircraft proficiency following maintenance or modifications. Provide pilot training and ensure proficiency.

Navigate and pilot the MH-60R helicopter during flights.

Assist RSNF designated FCF Pilots with maintenance functional check flights, including preflight briefing, preflight checks, flight checks, post-flight procedures, and documentation.

Coordinate with maintenance contractors for in-flight troubleshooting, verifying maintenance actions or repairs through ground and flight checks.

Manage an approved MH-60R Flight Operations Program in compliance with Navy flight manuals, instructions, directives, SOPs, and local policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Designation as a Helicopter Aircraft Commander (HAC).
• MH-60R Instructor Pilot (IP) experience.
• Previous designation as MH-60R Instructor and FCF Pilot.
• Minimum of 550 total flight hours, including 50 HAC hours and 100 MH-60R FCF/Maintenance test hours.
• Must hold a Secret security clearance.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Must pass an aeronautical/flight physical.
• Physical ability to climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, and crouch.
