Position Summary

The Physical Security Monitor supports the United States Military Training Mission (USMTM) by providing continuous personnel vetting and physical security monitoring at USMTM facilities. The role ensures compliance with credentialing and ongoing risk assessments of locally employed personnel, while maintaining 24/7 physical security and force protection measures for U.S. service members, civilians, and mission partners. This work is vital to safeguarding U.S. equities, classified areas, and operational integrity within the USCENTCOM area of responsibility. The position is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct continuous physical security monitoring of USMTM facilities, access points, and controlled areas to support 24/7 force protection of U.S. service members, civilians, and mission partners.
  • Verify identification, credentials, and authorization documents; monitor entry/exit procedures and enforce access control policies for classified and sensitive areas.
  • Observe, identify, and report suspicious activity, security violations, or potential insider threat indicators, escalating concerns in accordance with established reporting procedures.
  • Coordinate and communicate professionally with USMTM leadership, U.S. Government personnel, host nation counterparts, and senior U.S./Saudi officials as required.
Qualifications
  • Prior State or Federal Law Enforcement, Military Intelligence, Military Police, or Department of War (DoW) intelligence experience.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication and the ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams. Site Leads and Monitors may have potential interactions with senior U.S. and Saudi officials and flag officers.
  • U.S. citizenship and possession of an active Tier 3 (Secret) security clearance at minimum.
  • Able to complete required training and credentials within 45 days of arrival.
Working Conditions

Work is located OCONUS and primarily performed with frequent interruptions. Standard business hours are Monday‑Friday; however, occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs.
