Photographer is responsible for capturing high-quality images that reflect Al Ahli Club’s identity, brand, and communications objectives. This role documents club activities, including matchday moments, training sessions, events, promotional campaigns, and behind-the-scenes content—to support media, digital platforms, commercial initiatives, and internal communication. The Photographer ensures that all images produced are creative, timely, and aligned with the club’s visual standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Capture professional photographs for matches, training sessions, player portraits, media days, press conferences, special events, and any other related tasks.
- Edit, retouch, and prepare images for use across print, digital, and social media platforms.
- Collaborate closely with videographers, graphic designers, and the social media team to ensure consistent visual storytelling and brand alignment.
- Maintain a well‑organized photo archive and ensure all digital assets are properly tagged and stored.
- Manage photography equipment, ensuring proper maintenance, calibration, and readiness for use.
- Support the marketing and communications department in visual campaigns, product shoots, and promotional materials.
- Provide on‑demand photo coverage for internal events, corporate activities, and community engagements.
- Stay updated on photography trends, sports media standards, and emerging tools/technologies in visual content creation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Media Production, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a photographer, preferably in a sports, media, or entertainment environment.
- Proven experience in event and action photography (sports photography experience is a strong plus).
- Familiarity with digital asset management systems and content delivery for social media.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented creative environment.
Skills
- Excellent technical photography skills (DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting, composition).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge, etc.).
- Strong visual storytelling ability and understanding of brand aesthetics.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines (especially during matches and live events).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel for matches or events as required.
