Job summary

Nahdi is seeking a Registrar in the Pediatric department to diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses, take medical histories, and prescribe medications. The role includes ordering tests, counseling on diet and preventive care, and maintaining accurate patient records. The position requires a medical degree, SCFHS licensure, and experience in a clinical setting.

Fluency in English and Arabic is essential. The candidate will work within Nahdi Care Clinics, following NCC policies and MOH/CBAHI

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from a recognized university.
• Master's degree or fellowship in related specialty (SCFHS approved).
• SCFHS license to practice as Registrar.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and document findings.
• Designs and executes the patient’s plan of care.
• Educates patients on their health condition, investigations, treatment options and medications.
• Educates patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Orders and reviews results of investigations.
• Prescribe medications for patients.
• Fulfill obligations related to patient records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to NCC policies, bylaws, and rules.
• Participate in committees and adhere to standards of care.
• Maintain professional relationships with departments and external parties.
• Complete fire safety requirements and attend relevant trainings.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and MOH/CBAHI compliance.
• Support ongoing professional development of junior staff.
• Integrate heritage, environment and disease prevalence in patient care.
• Support and develop Continuing Medical Education programs.

Education

Bachelor s degree in medicine and surgery from recognized universities. Master s degree in (related specialty) from recognized universities. OR Fellowship with SCFHS approval. Experience 2 years of clinical experience following Master s degree or is eligible to sit the board examination in the specialty. SCFHS License Licensed as Registrar in (related specialty) from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. Computer Skills Office & Health Information Systems Languages English and Arabic (fluent speaking and writing)
