A leading healthcare technology firm in Riyadh is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical support and service for healthcare IT systems. This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring system compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, excellent customer focus, and the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site and remote technical support for healthcare IT systems, including electronic health records (EHR) systems, medical imaging software, and other healthcare IT infrastructure.
Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades on healthcare IT systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Lead or assist in the installation and configuration of healthcare IT systems and associated hardware, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and customization to meet facility needs.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure that critical healthcare services are not interrupted.
Engage with healthcare professionals to understand their IT requirements, providing expert advice and solutions to enhance their workflows and improve patient care.
Deliver technical training and support to healthcare staff on using IT systems, developing user manuals, training materials, and other documentation to facilitate system use and troubleshooting.
Ensure that all work complies with healthcare regulations, particularly in terms of data privacy and security, maintaining detailed documentation of service activities, including maintenance records and issue resolutions.
Continuously evaluate service processes and procedures, suggesting and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in healthcare IT, applying this knowledge to improve service delivery and keep systems current.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong technical proficiency with healthcare IT systems, including EHR, medical imaging, and hospital information systems (HIS).
Excellent customer focus, with the ability to understand and respond to the unique needs of healthcare professionals.
Proficient in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues with a methodical and analytical approach.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple service requests, documentation, and follow-ups.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different healthcare environments, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including data privacy and security standards such as HIPAA.
