Job description
Job Purpose:

Responsible to provide treatment and care for patients who have been involved in any medical emergencies or other crises.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Responds to any emergency calls immediately.
  • Assesses, evaluates, and reports patient condition utilizing approved methodology / triage system.
  • Makes differential diagnoses for patients
  • Administers appropriate medication following the 10 rights for medication administration and monitor effect.
  • Carries out emergency procedures like dressing of wounds and other necessary measures for any form of injuries.
  • Transporting patients to the medical center and continuing to provide treatment while in transit.
  • Demonstrates competence in performing Cardio pulmonary Resuscitation
  • Provides necessary information to ER physician related to patient condition and treatment.
  • Documents in HIS as indicated by relevant policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.
