Overview

Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and control secondary packing machines used in sterile products (Leak tester, Labeling, Cartoning, and Track and Trace system).
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, and site SOPs during all packing operations.
  • Perform line clearance, area cleaning, and equipment cleaning as per approved procedures.
  • Accurately record batch details, logbooks, and packing documentation.
  • Conduct in-process checks (leak test, labeling, printing verification, weight checks) to ensure product quality.
  • Report deviations, breakdowns, and abnormalities promptly to the supervisor.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments under guidance.
  • Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and maintain a clean and controlled environment.
  • Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support packing material reconciliation, segregation of rejects, and compliance with waste disposal SOPs
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Science/ Engineering or related field. Technical certification with relevant experience may also be considered.
  • 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical packing operations (sterile/liquid/BFS lines preferred).
  • Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and regulatory guidelines (USFDA, EU, WHO, SFDA). Understanding of packing processes, line clearance, and documentation practices.
  • Basic machine operation and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Teamwork, discipline, and adherence to safety & quality culture.
  • Additional Advantage: Experience in sterile pharma/BFS/EDMD lines.
