Qualifications

  • Degree in Naval Architecture or Technical Naval Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in shipbuilding projects, specifically in piping, outfitting, and insulation.
  • Familiarity with classification society regulations (e.g., DNV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s).
  • English level B2 minimum (advanced level preferred).
  • Additional certifications in surface treatment or painting are a strong advantage.

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the development of our activities in the Naval and Offshore sectors, we are looking for an

to join our technical teams, contributing to outfitting and systems integration projects in shipbuilding environments.

Reporting to the Project Technical Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supervise and support the fabrication and installation of piping systems, hull outfitting components, and insulation works
  • Apply technical knowledge of pipe bending, welding techniques for piping, non-destructive testing (NDT), and pipe treatment
  • Monitor and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), self-inspections, and quality plans in compliance with client and classification society requirements
  • Ensure strict adherence to international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 3834, and ISO 45001
  • Collaborate with production, QA/QC, and HSE teams to support safety and risk prevention practices (ORP – intermediate level)
  • Contribute to surface preparation and painting supervision (certifications in this area are a plus)
  • Interpret and review technical drawings and 3D models using tools like FORAN
  • Manage documentation and reports through SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)
