Job description

We’re hiring an experienced, hands‑on Order Management Specialist to join our Order Management team supporting compressor packages & gas turbines. This is a high‑impact role focused on converting plans into production, coordinating materials release across teams, and removing roadblocks so manufacturing and dispatch run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Convert planned orders into production orders in SAP and schedule them to align with the Primavera production plan.
• Coordinate with Quality to ensure inspected materials are released (physically and in SAP) and tracked to availability.
• Verify materials availability; identify and escalate missing, delayed, or discrepant components.
• Release production orders and follow up on material issuance in SAP to ensure timely production start.
• Technically complete (TECO) / close production orders upon manufacturing completion and release delivery notes per dispatch requirements.
• Act as the central liaison between Project Management, Quality, Warehouse, Production and Logistics — own issues end‑to‑end, drive resolution, and prevent recurring disruptions.
• Maintain accurate SAP records, prepare brief materials status updates, and support continuous improvement of material flow processes.

What we’re looking for

• Hands‑on SAP experience (MM/PP modules preferred) and familiarity with production scheduling tools (Primavera) is desirable.
• Strong coordination skills: proven ability to drive cross‑functional action and resolve supply or quality issues quickly.
• Good analytical ability, attention to detail, and clear, concise communication (written and verbal).
• Prior experience in manufacturing/assembly environments (industrial equipment, turbines, compressors, or similar) is a plus.
