Job summary

Nexttec Technology Outsourcing seeks an Oracle Apps Developer to design, build, and maintain Oracle EBS applications on a full-time, project-based contract.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Oracle EBS development, with strong experience in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle APEX, plus in-depth knowledge of Financials and SCM modules. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and collaborate with functional teams and IT stakeholders.

Nexttec Technology Outsourcing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Apps Developer to join our team on a full-time, project-based contract. As an Oracle Apps Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle applications for our clients.

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Applications Developer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application development. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle EBS applications, with a particular focus on Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle APEX, and business processes within Financials and Supply Chain Management (SCM).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, enhance, and maintain applications within Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS).
• Design and develop applications using Oracle Forms Builder.
• Develop, modify, and maintain Oracle Reports to support business and operational requirements.
• Develop and maintain applications using Oracle APEX.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and SQL queries.
• Integrate and interface Oracle EBS with internal and external applications where required.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate technical solutions.
• Perform application testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with functional teams, business users, and other IT stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support existing Oracle EBS modules and participate in enhancements, upgrades, and implementation projects.
• Develop technical documentation for applications, customizations, interfaces, and system changes.
• Ensure solutions follow Oracle development standards, coding practices, security requirements, and change-management procedures.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Oracle certifications would be considered an advantage.

Functional Experience

The candidate should have a good understanding of Oracle EBS business processes, particularly in:

• Oracle Financials
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

Required Technical Skills

• Practical experience with Oracle APEX.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
• Good understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, tables, APIs, interfaces, and customization practices.
• Experience with Oracle EBS Financials and/or SCM modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a technical and functional team.
