Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential, and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.

Job description

The Warehouse Operations Team Leader is responsible for supervising daily warehouse activities, ensuring accurate and timely receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and put-away.
• Lead and support warehouse associates to meet productivity, quality, and service targets.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Enforce safety rules and promote a safe working environment.
• Train, coach, and onboard new team members.
• Support inventory control activities such as cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
• Monitor system transactions using WMS/RF scanners and report operational issues.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and elevate operational risks.
