Premium Solutions Consultancy is hiring on behalf of a leading group of companies in KSA – NEOM PROJECT (The line).

Position: Operation Supervisor

Location: Saudi Arabia.

Project Name: NEOM PROJECT (The line).

Role Purposes

As Operation Supervisor for Waste Management at NEOM Operations, your role is crucial for managing resources efficiently and promoting sustainable practices in waste collection. You'll oversee collection processes, optimize resource use, and minimize environmental impact. Your main tasks include developing strategies to align waste collection with NEOM's sustainability goals and regulations. Additionally, you'll spearhead efforts to improve resource management, reduce waste, and boost recycling rates. Through data analysis and collaboration, you'll identify opportunities for enhancement and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability. Your work will contribute to NEOM's vision of building eco‑friendly communities.

Key Accountability and Activities
Parameters

Develop and review the NEOM Community Waste Management Plan, using the “Business Unit” Mindset (Business Description, Processes Mapping, Procedures, Indicators Management, Routine Management, etc.).

Implement the NEOM Community Waste Management Plan in all NEOM Communities and keep it always updated.

Develop, implement, and execute Routine Management with reliable data collection, meetings, check and audits on site, indicators, analyses, root cause identification and action plan elaboration and execution.

Identify and implement improvement opportunities, projects, and best practices.

Manage the NEOM Communities Resource & Waste targets and objectives, aligned to the Manager, Director and NEOM.

Manage the contracts related to Resources and Waste operation, transport, final treatment (recycling, landfill, waste‑to‑energy, hazardous, etc.), suppliers, etc., verifying compliance with contract, analyzing the contracts performance, applying the SLA, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities to make them more sustainable, productive, efficient and safe. Offer training and guidance to team members to heighten awareness of sustainability practices and embed them into daily routines.

Continuously assess and refine strategies to suit evolving priorities, fostering ongoing improvements in resource management and sustainability.

Respecting the legal requirements, the NEOM Policies and the Circular Economy Concept focused on reducing the waste generation in the Community, becoming Zero Waste to Landfill, reducing the department expenses, and increasing its incomes.

Update the reports and dashboards.

Operational Strategy Planning and Execution

Develop and implement strategies for operations management and sustainability in waste collection at NEOM Operations.

Ensure alignment of operational strategies with NEOM's sustainability goals, regulations, and organizational objectives.

Coordinate with teams to integrate sustainability into daily operations and optimize resource use.

Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.

Lead the implementation of innovative solutions to improve resource management and sustainability.

Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of sustainability.

Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in resource management.

Continuously evaluate and refine strategies to meet evolving needs and priorities.

People management

Lead and guide the collection team, encouraging teamwork and high standards.

Assign tasks clearly, ensuring everyone understands their roles and goals.

Regularly evaluate performance and offer constructive feedback for growth.

Cultivate a positive workplace that values diversity and cooperation.

Coach team members to improve their skills in sustainability and waste management.

Handle conflicts or problems within the team promptly and diplomatically.

Knowledge, Experienced, Qualifications
Knowledge

Understanding waste management principles, sustainability practices, and regulatory requirements.

Familiarity with resource management strategies for optimizing waste collection.

Knowledge of environmental regulations governing waste management.

Understanding data analysis methods to assess performance and identify improvements.

Experience

Prior experience in waste management, focusing on sustainability.

Supervisory experience and operational coordination skills.

Familiarity with compliance and regulatory adherence.

Proficiency in data analysis for process improvement.

Implementation of sustainability practices in waste management operations.

Qualifications
Essential

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Resource Management, or related field.

Previous experience in waste management or environmental sustainability, focusing on resource optimization and waste reduction.

Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability principles, and waste management practices.

Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to assess performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for performance monitoring and improvement.

Driving license.

Desirable

Master's degree or professional certification in Environmental Management, Sustainability, or related field.

Experience in project management and implementing sustainability initiatives in waste management operations.

Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for spatial analysis and optimizing waste collection routes.

Familiarity with emerging technologies and innovations in waste management to improve sustainability and resource efficiency.
