Job Purpose:
Oversee and manage all aspects of shopping mall operations, including property management, tenant relations, and contract services. Ensure smooth operations, providing an optimal environment for retailers and a pleasant experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day mall operations, maintaining high standards to meet tenant and customer needs
- Coordinate with the mall team and contractors to ensure seamless operations across maintenance, security, cleaning, pest control, waste management and customer service
- Conduct tenant orientation on emergency procedures, communication systems, and security protocols
- Maintain strong relationships with municipal emergency services, including police and civil defense
- Identify and address health and safety risks in the mall
- Ensure tenant compliance with operational standards through regular audits and corrective actions
- Monitor and enforce mall operating policies, including Occupational Health & Safety standards
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on mall operations, including traffic and other relevant metrics
- Conduct regular checks and preventive maintenance to uphold property standards
- Supervise, guide, and mentor the Mall Operations team, fostering talent and professional development
- Collect tenant sales reports and manage timely payments from tenants and to service providers
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for mall operations and tenant contracts
- Resolve conflicts and disputes among tenants, customers, and visitors efficiently
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- 5+ years of professional experience, with 3-5 years in mall operations management. Procurement experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing mall operations, safety, security, and facilities.
- Strong management and team leadership skills.
- Proficiency in retail/shopping mall business, property management, and conflict resolution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Fluent in English.
