To oversee all daily operational activities across the company to ensure operational efficiency, high performance, productivity enhancement, quality improvement, and cost optimization while ensuring full compliance with corporate policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop annual operational plans and align them with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of operational improvement strategies and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Participate in strategic decision-making in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Manage daily operations across all operational units and functions.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules or service delivery timelines with required quality standards.
- Lead the resolution of complex operational issues and make rapid decisions to maintain continuity of operations.
- Oversee employee training and development programs within operations.
- Monitor and analyze key operational KPIs to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Apply quality improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S.
- Ensure compliance with quality, health, and safety standards across all sites.
- Identify operational needs including manpower, equipment, systems, and technologies.
- Coordinate with Finance and Procurement to ensure availability of required resources.
- Monitor the operational budget and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to all local and international laws and regulations related to operations.
- Implement, update, and enforce operational policies and procedures.
- Act as a bridge between Operations and other departments (Finance, HR, Sales, Quality).
- Facilitate effective communication flow across teams and ensure alignment.
- Prepare periodic operational performance reports for senior management.
- Analyze operational results and provide improvement recommendations.
- Perform any additional tasks that align with the objectives of the Operations Department.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- MBA is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in operations or executive management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in leading operations within organizations that operate retail stores, cafés, or multi-branch consumer-facing businesses.
- Strong track record in managing large-scale, multi-site operations with high service quality standards.
