Overview

Role Summary : As an Application Engineer you will support Flowserves Lifecycle Advantage (LCA) contracts at one or more of our clients locations in the KSA. These tasks may include ensuring performance at the site supporting the results of the Balance Scorecard and monitoring and executing the daily requirements of the site operations as defined in the contract. The purpose of this role is to translate the objectives of Flowserve and the client into a sustainable longterm contractual relationship focused on improving the performance of a customers assets.

Your Role
  • Lead the design and implementation of sealing solutions to meet customer needs and improve seal life.
  • Act as the primary source of information regarding the design application installation and operation of mechanical seals.
  • Support the MOC (Management of Change) process with all required documentation.
  • Carry out reliability walkabouts and generate reports accordingly.
  • Perform mechanical seal failure analysis and produce reports accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot pump and seal systems operating in Customer sites.
Your Profile
  • 5 years relevant industry experience as an Applications Engineer and / or Project Manager with an industrial rotating equipment manufacturer
  • Can demonstrate attention to detail and a processoriented mindset with experienced mechanical aptitude and ability to manage profit and loss accounts.
  • Comfortable working in an environment of frequent change
  • High proficiency in project management tools software and concepts
  • BSME degree or equivalent
  • Have a high standard of written and spoken English as well as strong PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office tools.
