To support ongoing and future project delivery, Bechtel is currently seeking an Office Services Manager to join the team at our sites in GCC countries (Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates).

Job Summary:

In this role, you will plan and coordinate facility office designs, space allocation and moves, write procedures and instructions, provide guidance to administrative personnel, and stay informed of developments in technology, equipment, software applications, programs, and processes. Your input will help develop and implement new or improved systems and procedures for the facility.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate detailed phases of facilities office designs, construction, major moves, renovation activities, space allocation, furniture and equipment control and disbursement, requiring substantial judgment and experience.
  • Develop and implement new or improved systems and procedures.
  • Write procedures and application instructions.
  • Provide input to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Provide guidance and direction to administrative support personnel.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency and experience in budget management and preparation of work plans.
  • Knowledge of Bechtel, Government and industry standards, practices, and regulatory requirements related to facility management, office services, and records and information management.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including success in managing multiple work priorities, driving process improvements, and developing and executing long‑term plans.
  • Working knowledge in various O&AS disciplines, including knowledge of O&AS policies and programs preferred.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of a diverse, global organization and to make presentations to senior managers, committees, or large gatherings as necessary.
  • Ability to address the concerns of all levels of Bechtel employees and resolve problems or issues.
  • Experience as a senior manager with previous oversight responsibilities directing activities mentioned above.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with an emphasis on quality, team building, and work process improvement.
