Job description
Core responsibilities
  • Patient assessment and care: Observe, assess, and monitor patient conditions, record symptoms and progress, and take vital signs.
  • Treatment and medication administration: Administer medications, perform treatments as prescribed, insert IVs, change wound dressings, and operate medical equipment.
  • Care planning: Develop and manage patient care plans in consultation with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Patient and family education: Counsel patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate by explaining medical information, providing emotional support, and connecting them with resources.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete patient healthcare records, documenting all actions and observations.
