Job Summary

The Night Manager ensures that the overnight shift in all positions works cohesively for the smooth operation of guest services, maintaining and cleaning of the hotel. This should be done by observing the productivity of overnight shift staff through inspections routine as well as surprise, providing guidance when required and providing feedback to the management for areas of improvement or concerns.

As a Night Manager, we rely on you to

• The Night Manager supervises the overnight shift team in the hotel operations.
• Meets and greets the late arrivals and early departures ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Handles any guest/staff incidents that may happen during the night shift and reports to the management with detailed incident reports
• Responsible to execute the overnight task list for all hotel systems, ensuring the various systems night audits and close day are done as per set guidelines and standards.
• Should have a good working knowledge and experience of general hotel operations and systems and current Shangri La and hotel operating policies and procedures.
• To have current knowledge and ability to demonstrate practical application of fire, life and safety procedures.
• To have a good working knowledge of OPMS and an understanding of Front Office systems and procedures.
