Job description

We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite / on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide experience and communication skills necessary for quality project management.
  • Prioritize incidents, service requests, and project tasks according to defined processes to meet defined SLAs.
  • Hands-on support for server and network faults.
  • Configuring, troubleshooting, administering, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers and workstations, Exchange servers, and Active Directory.
  • Ability to configure, administer, and implement DNS and DHCP servers.
  • Good knowledge of domain migrations, consolidation projects, and migration tools.
  • Experience in system recovery and restoration and backup products and solutions.
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components throughout various networking infrastructure devices.
  • Implement and monitor network security solutions.
  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in resolving support requests.
  • Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Ensuring company safety and security standards are met.
  • Participate in after-hours / on-call rotation.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ year of experience in a desktop support, helpdesk, or IT technician role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Zendesk, or JIRA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with macOS or Linux environments.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, or JAMF).
Working Conditions
  • On-site support may be required.
  • Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 25 lbs).
  • Flexible schedule or after-hours support may be needed during maintenance windows or emergencies.
