Position Overview
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Mocktail Maker / Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about crafting beautiful and flavorful non‑alcoholic beverages, from expertly brewed coffee to refreshing, innovative mocktails. You’ll play a key role in enhancing our guests’ experience by delivering exceptional service and consistently high‑quality drinks.
Key Responsibilities
- Mocktail Creation: Prepare and present a variety of mocktails using fresh ingredients, syrups, juices, herbs, and creative garnishes; design and suggest seasonal or signature mocktail recipes aligned with the restaurant’s theme and guest preferences; maintain knowledge of flavour pairings and beverage trends to ensure a fresh and evolving menu.
- Coffee & Beverage Service: Prepare espresso‑based drinks, teas, and other specialty beverages to standard recipes; operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment; ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation for all drinks.
- Customer Service: Greet customers with warmth and professionalism, providing recommendations when needed; handle special requests and dietary requirements with care and accuracy; maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar/beverage station at all times.
- Stock & Hygiene: Manage inventory of beverages, garnishes, and bar supplies; ensure proper storage of ingredients and monitor freshness and shelf‑life; follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista, mocktail maker, or in a beverage‑focused role in a restaurant or lounge.
- Strong understanding of non‑alcoholic mixology and coffee preparation techniques.
- Creative flair with excellent attention to detail in drink presentation.
- Basic knowledge of ingredients, allergens, and flavour profiles.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
