Qualifications

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Gas industry in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical systems, with a focus on installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery. As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facilities by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and executing repairs as necessary. You will work closely with other maintenance personnel and engineers to optimize machinery performance and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  2. Install, align, and maintain machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
  3. Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform repairs on various equipment, including pumps, compressors, and conveyors.
  4. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to facilitate effective repairs and installations.
  5. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machinery reliability and efficiency, implementing modifications as needed.
  6. Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
  7. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, sharing best practices and safety protocols.
  8. Participate in safety audits and contribute to the development of safety policies and procedures.
  9. Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
  10. Assist in the procurement of parts and materials necessary for maintenance and repair tasks.
Qualifications
  1. Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role within the Oil & Gas sector.
  2. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery installation, and maintenance practices.
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics with precision.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  8. Certification in Millwright or related technical qualifications is preferred.
  9. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment as required.
  10. Proficient in using hand and power tools for mechanical repairs.

The candidate must have at least 3 years diploma of associate engineering (DAE) in Mechanical trade.

More than 5 years working experience is required preferably in petrochemical plant, oil refinery, Fertilizer & power plant, (Experience in Gulf will be an added advantage.

Candidate must be capable of ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, dismantle and reassemble, inspect. Identify, the required parts and functionally test of all types of pumps, Steam Turbine, Gas turbine, Centrifugal and reciprocating compressor, all types of seal. All types of Valves. He must be familiar to preventive & corrective maintenance and complete overhauling of all type of rotating equipment. He must be familiar with all types of alignment, Checking run out of rotor and overhauling of governor of turbine. He must be familiar with all measuring Tool.

He should be familiar with HSE practices & fluent in oral and written in English
