Job summary

A logistics and supply chain company in Riyadh is seeking an experienced MEP Draftsman. You will be responsible for preparing shop drawings across HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, and Electrical systems. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience and strong skills in AutoCAD and Revit. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepares clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings.
• Makes drawing adjustments or changes as directed by the Engineering Management.
• Utilize knowledge of various drafting packages and software to complete drawings.
• Prepare Mechanical Shop Drawing, Plan, Section, Schematic Diagram.
• Prepare As-built Drawing for project documentation.

Job description

As a MEP Draftsman you'll be responsible for preparation of shop drawings across HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Electrical etc. which also includes design works, Quantity take off, preparation of As Built drawings etc.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepares clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes by performing the following duties for MEP Projects
• Makes drawing adjustments or changes as directed by the Engineering Management.
• Utilize knowledge of various drafting packages and software to complete drawings.
• Visually compares design of component, or other equipment with drawing of parts, matching coordinating points for accuracy of fit.
• Prepare Mechanical Shop Drawing, Plan, Section, Schematic Diagram, Schedule of Equipment, Equipment Installation Details
• Makes final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project
• Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings
• Draws charts for representation of statistical data
• Draws finished designs from sketches
• Revise and resubmit commented drawings.
• Prepare As-built Drawing for project documentation

Your Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree Holder in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit , MS Office
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
