Job description

JASARA PMC is searching for an experienced MEP & Commissioning Manager to oversee our Airport Infrastructure Project. This position is critical in ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems are integrated, tested, and commissioned efficiently and effectively in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the MEP and commissioning activities for the airport infrastructure project from design through to completion.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans for all MEP systems, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration and commissioning processes.
  • Conduct detailed system evaluations and prepare technical reports on performance outcomes, including compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Manage and mentor the commissioning team, providing guidance and ensuring that all team members understand project requirements.
  • Identify potential risks during the commissioning phase and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate training sessions for operational staff on the proper use and maintenance of MEP systems.
  • Oversee the completion of final commissioning documentation and ensure it is delivered to the project stakeholders.
  • Ensure a strong focus on health and safety throughout all commissioning activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in managing MEP systems and commissioning processes, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in commissioning complex MEP systems within the aviation or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management software and commissioning tools.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.Certification in project management (PMP) or commissioning (CxA) is preferred.
