Join the MENAT AWS Global Sales organization as a Generative AI and Machine Learning Specialist Seller!

As a Generative AI Sales Specialist, you will drive adoption and revenue growth for AWS’s Generative AI services. Your role involves identifying high-value customer opportunities, engaging with AWS customers to understand their needs, and aligning them with AWS Generative AI solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers in embedding and deploying AWS Generative AI solutions to unlock new value streams and address key business problems using AI capabilities. You will own the full-cycle sales process, from lead identification to revenue realization, understanding customer initiatives, and developing account plans to achieve those initiatives.

You will maintain in-depth knowledge of AWS’s Generative AI services, leading foundation models, and related areas to build strong customer relationships. By promoting the adoption of cutting-edge Generative AI technologies, you will help AWS grow its revenue while assisting customers in staying ahead in a rapidly evolving tech landscape. You will articulate AWS’s Gen AI strategy and services, conduct executive conversations on the transformational potential of generative AI, and help customers navigate suitable services for their use cases. You will serve as the primary point of contact within the organization for regional customers.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) aims to drive revenue and growth across various account sizes and sectors, including public sector. The AWS Support team partners with clients building mission-critical applications on AWS.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Accelerate customer adoption by defining and executing GTM and Sales strategies within your accounts and technology domain, leveraging AWS Sales and partner ecosystem.
  2. Collaborate with Data Science, Developers, Business leaders, and C-suite executives to build trust through deep technical expertise and solve their business challenges.
  3. Act as the frontline for specialist customer engagement within your accounts.
  4. Create and communicate compelling value propositions tailored to customer needs.
  5. Co-develop GTM strategies for new product launches and collaborate with product teams on new services.
  6. Partner with system integrators and developers to deliver customer projects.
  7. Identify new customer segments and use cases to expand market reach.
  8. Gather customer insights to inform product roadmaps and improve customer experience.
  9. Build credibility and trust with account teams and customers through meaningful conversations.
  10. Drive sales efforts across multiple business lines with decision-making authority and budget responsibility.
  11. Engage with systems integrators and partners to maximize customer value.
  12. Develop and present compelling ROI cases to promote AWS Gen AI solutions.
  13. Travel up to 50% (local/international) as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of direct sales, pre-sales, or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • Experience in account management with solution sales skills and product management.
  • Experience working with Data Scientists, Developers, and Machine Learning professionals.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-leading IDEs or development platforms for Machine Learning, LLM development, and software lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • Experience with Sagemaker.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI Services, AI, Machine Learning, and Foundation Model development.
  • Prior sales experience preferred.
  • Some travel involved.
